Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a specialized manual therapy technique used for the effective treatment and rehabilitation of soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons, myofascia) ailments such as aches, pains, tension and restrictions.

Myofascia is the connective tissue situated superficially (around) or deeper within muscles. Myofascial Release therapy is therefore, used to alleviate tension, movement restrictions and adhesions in order to restore balance and function to the soft tissues and the whole body.

We use advance Myofascial Release techniques to work on most muscles of the body;

*Muscles of the chest, rib cage and diaphragm to help better breathing and posture.

*Muscles of the abdomen, glutes, muscles of the upper, middle and lower back, all muscles in the legs and feet (including the soles of the feet) to help better movement and balance.

*Facial realignment - one side of the face not aligned with the other, jaw tension/pain, crooked nose.

*Jaw muscles
